The Final Final

My "I hate organizational behaviour" face

Tomorrow is my last exam for this semester. I'm pretty sure my motivation level is a negative number.

I've taken this course before. I've written this exam before. Long story, but they took away a bunch of my credits when I got sick.

It's a boring course based on memorization of organization theories.

All my friends have been done exams for a week. My best girl leaves for Europe on Monday.

I'm sitting in the dark with a textbook and a beer.

I'm procrastinating by applying for jobs. You know it's bad when....

I'm done tomorrow at 10pm. Just wait for my awesome dancey post of happiness!

BlogLovin'

I guess it's time to face the facts - Google Reader isn't going to be around much longer. It is by far my favourite way to read blogs, but I'm starting to get used to BlogLovin'.

You can now follow my blog there!

The Ultimate Fangirl

You may or may not know this, but music is pretty much my favourite thing. Live music is even better. Last night, I got to fulfill my teenage dreams, and saw one of my favourite bands ever.

I have almost seen them three times now. Between last minute cancellations, injured band members, and snowstorms, it has never happened for me. Until last night.

Anberlin's video for Feel Good Drag

Yesterday I went to Toronto, and experienced one of the best shows of my life (which is saying a lot, I've been to hundreds of shows). My only complaint is the acoustics in the venue were terrible and because I was the very front row, I didn't hear any vocals really. Luckily, I knew all the words anyway.

Afterwards, I was on a high and didn't want it to end so a few of us waited around outside the tour bus. It was pouring rain at this point, but we're dedicated so we stood out there for an hour before the guys realized we were out there and came out to say hi. They were all so genuine and grateful, and offered to sign things or take pictures with us.

They didn't play my favourite song, but it's an old one from three albums ago so I guess I can't really expect them to. They did have a good mix of old and new ones though, I was impressed.

OH YEAH and they just followed me on twitter. I pretty much spammed them last night and then this morning I tweeted how much I loved it and they followed me and tweeted back. Ultimate fangirl status right there.

Now I'm just trying to figure out if I should go to their concert tonight by myself. I just wish it wasn't so far away....

Flawless song, my favourite ever

"Spring"

Excuse my crappy phone camera, but this is what I saw yesterday morning while getting ready for work.

The weather has been all over the place. They actually closed the schools on Thursday here, but I still went to work. Friday was much worse, all the rain froze and the sidewalks were complete sheets of ice. It was actually scary, and half the city lost power (also no one knows how to drive when the lights are out).

I have my first exam this coming Wednesday. I know I need to study really hard, but I don't even know where to start. These next two weeks are going to be the worse.

I'm still looking for a job that actually applies to what I want to do. At this point, I'd be happy with any job that is more than minimum wage while still being full-time. It's not looking so good for me though. On the bright side, at least I still have something to fall back on.
